Your husband did a really good thing here by bringing that beautiful machine home to you. Enjoy his thoughtfulness and ignor the comments of him having a "guilty conscious" or him hiding what he bought for himself. Be proud you have a husband who thinks of you and appreciates your hobby/creativity enough to buy you such a gift. If I were you, I would look at it like this, "So what if he bought himself something.....he bought you something too".
