I grew up in the country with well water. Our well wasn't a deep well so we had to watch our water consumption during dry summers, but, was that water good! We have city water now from a great aquifer. However...the drillers are trying to do fracking and horizontal drilling for gas in our area. They're buying up mineral rights right and left. There is a lot of opposition because of possible contamination. Anyone experience that yet?
