Thanks for the welcome and the information. I will be giving the Free#5 to my sil. It was her mother's (my mil) and I think it should belong to her as she learned to sew on it.
The other one, I picked up at a yard sale for $40 or $45 about 4 years ago. I just forgot it had a machine in it. I thought I had bought it for the cabinet! I thought I'd try to have it outfitted for my 3500 Janome. I think I will try to get it cleaned etc and see if it works. I would love to use it! I am new at this VSM stuff.
I am pretty sure I have gotten the bug for VSM's! I dream of them. I'll keep my eyes open for them to come up at Estate auctions and yard sales. We live in a very rural area and don't get to a city but once or twice every 4-6 months!
