If I am not mistaken, there are a number of formulas throughout all the pages of this thread.
Basically, you figure that a strip of fabric, from selvedge to selvedge (WOF) is 40" long. The usual amount of strips in a jelly roll is 40 x 2.5" wide. (you can do the math on any number of strips you want at any width)
All you have to know is the finished size of the width of fabric. 2.5" finishes at 2" ...
Just start at the top of this thread (page 1) and start reading every page. there are a number of figures given for a variety of sizes. <wave>
