Gas stations have an odd way of doing things. The gas that is in the underground tanks needs to generate enough money for the station owner to pay for the next load of fuel. As the owner sees the price of the next load going up, he needs to raise the current price at the pump so he can pay the new higher price.
That is interesting- I never knew that. Thanks for the info. I never thought the guy who owns the station was the bad guy; I always heard that they do not make very much money on gasoline, only on other little purchases like food and sodas.
