Treadlers, Have any of you gotten spools of leather for your belts? For $16.99 I can get a 25 yd spool of beveled lacing, which would outfit quite a few machines. However, it is beveled, rather than round. Another provider has 25 meteres of round leather for $52.99. My local provider sells belts for $10. They are 72", and include the metal clamp. Rather than the clamp, belts can be sewn together with dental floss. By this time next week, I'll be belting 3 machines. I'm thinking investment here, rather than just supporting my LQS. Any ideas on the subject?
