Your ideas are just perfects. Monthly, 20 of the quilts are auctioned and a bunch of the others have set prices. To date, 7,000 have been made with ALL of the proceeds going for Alzheimer's Research. (yes, you heard that right-100%--it is entirely a volunteer effort).

someone else told me about this. I think it was Chele. I have been wanting to make something to send but will have to fit it in time wise. This is a great thing to do. I used to work as a nurse's aide and worked with many alzheimer's residents. So I can really relate to this.
