I covered them in fabric and filled w/ needles, thread, pins, and a couple of buttons and gave out the mini emergency sewing kits as add-on gifts for my sewing group. They're perfect for the desk drawer in the office. I am making a GFG, and its the perfect size for the EPP shapes, fabrics, etc., I need. I keep in my purse, so I always have a project on hand to work if I find myself with spare time. I have one on the shelf for used blades, needles, and bent pins. One of the brands container is also large enough for a 45mm rotary cutter, and it keeps it from rubbing against (and accidentally cutting!!) my projects in my "to go" bag for guild events and sew gatherings. I could go on and on and on.....
