I went to my favorite thrift store today to drop off a car load of office supplies from work, and came home with a Singer 301A in cabinet for 25.00!

It had been there for months and they wanted to get rid of it and had already marked it down from 65 to 45.00. I thought it might be a good machine for my granddaughter to learn on. At any rate, I couldn't bear to leave it there looking so forlorn. The cabinet needs to be refinished but it looks like pretty wood. After I managed to get it out of my trunk into the house I plugged it in and it sews a good seam. The machine is dull looking ... what can I use to put a polish on it?
