I made the first shadow trapunto bag for one of my sister. She wore it day after day, for three month, and the only part that suffered some damage were the corners. The rest of the bag has the organza intact. After that, I made the next bags using just cotton fabrics on the corners.
A purse made from organza is less durable than one made from upholstery fabric, for example. It needs a little more care…but it is more beautiful…
CrKathleen, yes, the quilts are more decorative.
