I too, learned the hard way. Use ONE brand and make sure that the lines are thin and the ruler is easy to read. I also had to learn the hard way not to use the lines on the mat. Thanks for the post. I'm sure there are lots of our quilting sisters wondering why their pices don't match up and their projects don't turn out right.
