I have a one of those large exercise balls as well. I use it when I'm sitting at the computer. I like to try to balance on it. It's great for low back pain.
Exercise balls are also being used in some classrooms as well. They allow movement while sitting. New research is looking at increasing attention by allowing the children movement while 'sitting'.
For me though my back does get tired because there's no back support with the ball only.
