Oh I know all about those back spasams and the the lovely way of living with them. I had spine surgery in 2003 due to my L4-5 blew up. It managed to shred my spinal column as well and they had to "crazy" glue it closed. They removed the L4-5 and replaced with nothing since the DJD is so bad they had nothing to fuse to. :) I would gladly go back in and have all the discs removed if possible, especailly the ones that are fused in my neck and dont let me sew the way I want to.

The latest battle is the TOS and I wish they would figure out a better way to remove the rib for I am all for removal after the spine surgery. But for now I will stick to my treatment plan and keep praying that we all are able to be pain free even just a day to do something we truly want to do. But until then we just have to smile!

Here is praying and hoping that everyone has a truly blessed day and finds a few minutes of joy in it...

I'm glad to hear that. I have fibromyalgia and migraines, along with 2 different spine curvatures. Still waiting other diagnosis. I just wish they would find something that helps with the back pain and spasms. I'm keeping DH up all night because of it, poor guy.
I, also have fibromyalgia, migraines, spinal curvatures as well as degenerative disc disease. I am struggling with severe muscle spasms in my back right now. I have an appointment with a neuro-surgeon (who is a back specialist) on Oct. 4th. I have been diagnosed with so many different things by so many different doctors over such a long time. I need one dr. to do an overhaul of my spine and come up with a plan to treat/work on everything. Until then, I can barely move with the spasms. But, we just keep on truckin', don't we?
We're a fine trio aren't we? I just try to get make it one day at a time. I'm making myself do little sewing each day to keep my spirits up. This board is a big help in that department.

Mary thank you for reminding help us to be thankful for each day.

Lori I'm all for re-gifting a book.

I hope that everyone had a better day today. There have been some wonderful packages received today.
