I've made other bags that call for just one layer of fleece in them and I find they do not hold up very well. They have no body and and don't stand up well. I had no trouble quilting the bags using Pellon 987. The Bow Tucks bag is one of my favorites and I've made a lot of them, for myself and for gifts.
