I have made a bunch of bow tucks. I have only used the heavy fusable interfacing. and only on the outside pieces not the lining. also used it on all the pockets.I use a piece of plastic canvas for the bottom to stiffen it. Just made a pillowcase type sleeve about 2" longer than the plastic and tucked the extra inside. I like using 2 layers of the canvas.Good Luck and enjoy it. Mary
