Getting used to the treadle will take some doing. Here's my question: Is there a way to FMQ on the 9W? We noticed that it didn't come with a darning foot. Is there one available or one that will work with it? Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to drop the feed dogs without removing that part. Does this machine require a cover for the feed dogs?

I do not have an answer for you on the FMQ but on the feed dogs. Can u tape an index card over them to hold them down, this was a suggestion from Fons and Porter show? Might help and then u could do the FMQ? Will b interesting to see if it works ok for u, send me a PM ok.....enjoy
