Yes, the polyester smooth fabric is very slippery and very ravely, and a pain! However, the upholstery fabric, which is all or part poly, is very nice to work on, but thick. I'm thinking it might make good mug rugs.

There is some 100% cotton in some of the books. Haven't gotten to them yet. The silk is so pretty!
