I went to True Value Hardware and got a large piece of plexiglass. I measured where I wanted the hole for the machine needle etc. My husband cut it for me and now I have a combo slider and table extension for very little $$. I think I paid $23 and it is at least twice the size of the big Slider. I used double sided sticky tape along one edge to make sure it didn't move (and it hasn't). I can remove it from my sewing table (a vintage FW table) anytime I want if I change machines since I have that capability with two other vintage machines that I have.
