You will find that the plastic isn't as slippery as the teflon sheet but it can be improved if you spray it with a little silicone spray. It is not greasy, non scented, and non staining. It is available at upholstery supply and on the internet. Maybe locally if you live in a large enough area. You can also spray the plastic with pledge and wipe it off before using.
