Older DD saw younger DD's friend with a Hobo bag. DD said "Mom, I really want to make one of those, can you help me?" ... Five days later, Mom has finished the bag with lots of pockets. And all with no pattern. Even a zippered inner pocket! Cost $ 0! All done with scraps and stash!!!!!   Dug out Great Grandmother's button box and used buttons and snaps from it. DD did sew on the button, snap and cut out some of pockets. She gave me puppy dog eyes after she had to rip out the bottom seam 3 times. And even with me sitting next to her and the speed turned down her sewing was a mess. I couldnt figure out what she was doing. So I did all the sewing. And she is happy. Now time to clean up the mess we left.
