Your quilt is awesome. I just finished a denim quilt for my son. It was almost twin size (he a big guy) and I backed it with fleece. It was a real tussel to get that done as it was sooooooo heavy. I didn't quilt it, I used some buttons from my grandmother's old button basket to use instead of tying it. Turned out good and he loves it. Told him it's one of a kind as I will NEVER make another one...LOL
