My "Little Brown Bird" book came today. I got it off e-bay for 49.00. I am going to tackle this. It is beautiful. I am not an expert, but I think with drive and determination....I can do it. I know with Thanksgiving just 2 weeks away, I probably won't truly get to start it like I would like to until after all the holiday hoopla. I think my first line of attack will be to cut the 9" blocks, and try to pick out fabrics from my stash, backing fabric, and batting. I am really going to give it my full effort. I am excited.
