Think I need to add the following. I don't use freezer paper, glue, starch, plastic sheet overlay or anything else to apply the pattern or stiffen the applique fabric. When I first started appliqueing, I checked out all techniques and decided to do it the most logical way to me to get the pattern on the fabric and applique. When the master pattern is on the background block, I Roxanne's Glue Baste It with several small dots to hold in place--rather than pinning, which I used to do. Which patch goes on first?
