A fancy thing we do is wrap 2 fresh asparagus spears in a piece of bacon and cook in a skillet on med/low or grill on a low heat until bacon is crisp and asparagus is cooked tender, they are so yummy!
We do this too, only in the summer when asparagus is just comming up and very tenderon, the grill we love it. No one in my family likes the green bean casserol. So we have Cheese greenbeans, it has bacon , onion, mushrooms, velveta cheese and greenbeans.
