I have taken it to parties still warm. I do use Everclear for my recipes. I have a basic kahlua recipe I have been making and drinking for 20+ years. When I discovered Watkins Caramel flavoring..................now all I make is Caramel Kahlua. And Walmart sells the Watkins Caramel Flavoring. So for about $20 in supplies for a "batch" you get 5-fifths of Caramel Kahlua. My SIL calls it liquid snickers.
