I thought it was just me-mine are about 7 1/2 or 7 3/4; I'm hoping I can tame them with sashing and cornerstones. Even the blocks I paper pieced are smaller than 8".

If all your blocks are coming out the same ...no matter what the size...as long as they are the same. I used EQ for one of the blocks and it came out the correct size. the pping using the CD on my cp are coming out 1/8" short even the whole block layout is 1/8" short. I just had to make sure because I'm a nut about precise measurements.
