For anyone who is having trouble with the 1/4 inch try this: Take some scraps and cut them into short 2 1/2 inch strips. Just short. Say 3-4" long. Sew them together. Press. Measure. The should measure 4 1/2". If they do then you know you are sewing them correctly. If not, move your needle or your guide until when you sew them together and press they come out correctly.
