see? no one did. not one hand is raised! that's because, no does expect perfection. we all do the best we can. the night before last i was ready to throw out the dq i made for april's swap, because it just wasn't perfect. and yesterday i realised that i had done the best i could. it's where i am right now, in terms of my quilting skills. i was, however, kind of happy with the way the binding came out ( which i put on last night). i must say tho', i spent alot of time trying to thread the needle at the pointed end. it might be time for new glasses, but i'm pretty sure i sewed the binding on in the right place. seriously..... and i consider myself a 'confident beginner'. ( which i think means i'm too new at this to know it's too hard for me so i just do it anyway,) ( oh, yes, and i love parenthesis and exclamation points, and i talk to myself!) so as nike says-- just do it!
