Wow! If you ever come to the SF Bay area, we have wood working store called Japan Woodworking. It has amazing Japanese ( and other) tools, and going there is really fun. They have a big bench with scrap wood on it, and almost every hand tool they sell out to play with. When I go there to buy shellac i have to chant "you don't need another hobby, you don't need another hobby" because the place is intoxicating! Does your DH sell his work?

I know what you mean about not needing another hobby. Originally DH bought our 1st lathe for me to use because I thought that was something I would like to do. I don't have time. We now have 4 lathes, found on craigslist and they are all for his work. Kinda like why we 'need' more than one sewing machine, right???
