I am sorry calla... What is it we are doing? I think the answer is 2.16 on the first question. But, the blocks need to be the sizes that are shown in the first post. If you are dividing the block into thirds that would be it. right? Then add the seam allowances to make it come out to the 6.5 when it is the finished mail in sized block.
