I just recently did a t-shirt quilt for my daughters best friend, There preference was traditional, so that years down the rode they can still display the quilt without it looking dated. I choose B, I think the color choices will blend well with any decor, and stand the test of time. It is a beautiful design, I'm sure which ever you choose they will be delighted.
