Honchey--I would guess the chowder would be much better with fresh corn! I've never creamed my own corn, but maybe you know how to do that.

Yes...we do have company coming, but since everything is ready I am messing around on the quilting board. Otherwise I will just keep wondering around the house finding something else that could be done!
