If you go to
www.FinishingTouchesQuiltingStudio.com they have a ruler base for this machine, plus a new foot they have developed for the 18.8 that is exactly 1/2 inch around. Plus they have smaller handles for better control doing small stippling. The new foot gives you exactly 1/4 inch from the needle and is easier to see with than the one that comes with the machine.
Finishing Touches is great to work with and parcel came quickly, even to Canada.
Oh, they are also making some rulers for ruler work too, I bought the starter set.
I have the same machine except Viking brand, and am just learning (and loving) how to use it.
