Thank you this was just what I needed. I was going to start a Jelly roll but was not sure I really liked some that I saw that the colors seem to be concentrated in 2 lines. My friend suggested cutting it and resewing it but I was not sure it would work. You have made me see it in a new light. I never thought about the appliques either, decision time!
