Well my week of having fun with my new machines has not gone according to plan at all!

According to F600 dealer's online order system the order shipped complete on 1/3 (after I spent 2 days trying to find out the status and tried to cancel it). They called the morning of 1/4 to tell me the order was on it's way, too late to cancel and gave me the FedEx number to track it's scheduled arrival on Tuesday 1/8. I had started contacting other Juki dealers I had looked at late on 1/3, so I went ahead and ordered the 2010qi from the most responsive one on 1/4.

On Tuesday FedEx delivered one tiny box containing 100 sewing needles! Nothing else. I called the dealer's customer service, got the run around that "there must be more boxes on the way" and asked for a manager. After being on hold, I was told that the manager was on her way to the warehouse to check on my order. She called back about 20 minutes later and told me the F600 was on backorder! She did apologize, but could not explain how this happened and I cancelled my order. I ordered this machine on 12/26! At no time did their customer service reps tell me this and I probably talked to them 8 times over the course of 2 weeks. And, they charged my CC for the full amount on 1/4 to make me even madder!

Yesterday I received the Juki 2010qi from dealer #2. It looks fabulous - it just feels so sturdy! Well, guess what? The power cord is missing! I call and the dealer apologizes and promises to send one ASAP. As I'm getting ready to put my Pfaff back on the table I try it's power cord which works. WooT!

I pull out some thread and start reading about how to wind bobbins & thread the machine, only to find no bobbin case. By this time it's after hours so I send an email inquiring about this and expressing some concern. I got a reply back last night apologizing again and promising to make it right - both parts to be mailed today via Priority Mail. They have heard of this issue with the Juki factory having some slips.

I know mistakes happen... and Dealer #2 handled it perfectly and Dealer #1 was a complete disaster. I had read good things about them which was why I chose them. I'm going to wait until I get the 2010qi up and running - then order the F600 through Dealer #2 (and ask them to open the box and check for all the parts!).
