Showed this to my carpenter, builder husband. He said with a blade that thin that had been in use for awhile would do that if there was an infinitesimal twisting you wouldn't even realize at the right moment of rotation. Kind of a,"perfect storm cutting moment". Just one of those things not a fault in blade. An imperfection in the blade should have shown up sooner.
