(He was born in 1927) It is hand appliqued and hand quilted and again, we don't know the pattern. This one he is taking with him to the retirement center. It is in mint condition and the pictures do not do it justice. It is by far my favorite. I am glad he has decided to take it with him! Thanks for looking!

Absolutely put on a label and make sure it is on securely. Also, let the staff there SEE YOU taking pictures of BIL
on or near that quilt. My husband was in a nursing home for 3 years, and so much of his stuff went missing that
I finally gave up and gave him just what they said to get him. Most of the thefts, said the staff, was done by either
visitors and/or mentally "off" patients. Discuss with the staff how much it should be insured for...no matter if you
insure it or not..
