I made this quilt for the new baby girl my co-worker is expecting in March. The fabric I chose is called "Hello Luscious" by Moda. I wanted to use a more "girlie" fabric instead of a baby fabric as they outgrow the baby quilts so quickly. I found a pattern called "Briar Rose" at the following website:

When I chose the pattern I did not know that the baby's middle name would be Rose. I did make the quilt a little smaller than the original pattern.
The beautiful label was made by a member of this Quilting Board, sewnsewer2 (Dawn). It surely enhances the quilt. Thanks Dawn.
