Restoration - Wheeler & Wilson 12W
Ok, so here is the third machine I am attempting to restore.
This was a local Craigslist posting and was up for about 2 weeks before i went and bought it.
These folks were kind enough to refuse to sell this to a person who just wanted the irons to make a table...grrrrrrr.
Once I get this thread under way and with some progress to show i will be inviting them here to watch the process (at their request)
This is an industrial machine in a treadle base with a knee lift for the presser foot.
I suspect that the table was an earlier attempt to restore the unit because it has "iffy" routing and no screw holes for the hinges, as well as other areas of workmanship that seem to not be inline with the factory quality we usually see.
