In all the photos I've seen of WW irons, none have had painted lettering. There must have been something about the WW decals though. I see more machines that have the decals completely gone than any other kind...and yet we have that lovely outline of where they SHOULD be. Both my WW machines are like that. Such a bummer because the machines are both in good working condition but completely devoid of their decals.
