I caution you about the Bernina's. They are without a doubt my favorites, but if it is missing parts you will have to beg dealers for parts...I have a 930, 830 and 802...all of which needed work. I have one Bernina, an older one, but have not serviced it myself, the reason being that I do not have access to Bernina tools. Do you have Bernina tools, what are they, and where did you get them? Do you know where I can get some?
Actually, I have the same question for Pfaff tools.
