You mean all the adjusting is why you don't like it as much? You may need to push the tension in (not the end knob the next part that will push in) and then tighten the outer knob a turn. Then adjust to suit yourself. It won't change the tension but it will hold it in place a little better. I don't know how to explain that one any better.
