I can not imagine needing one with two layers. Our bedroom the register is closed off in our room, and our thermometer says 58 (unless we get the real chill factor days, then it is 56) and the quilt we have on our bed is just 5 in charms sewed in rows with poly batting and flannel backing, then we have a very light weight summer store bought blanket. We are never cold at night. I made one for my brother and wife for their camper, and they both said they are never cold anymore in their camper.. and we never use heat..and it gets down to the upper 40's sometimes.. we camp in Wisconsin until the last weekend in Oct..and we start the first weekend of May.. well until this year.. we have way to much snow to get to the camper yet...
