Our son and DIL (and her dghter) were together at least 5 yrs b4 he proposed. We had plenty of time to get to know her and love her. They bring out the best in ea other. He gives structure to her life and she'd taught him to mellow out allttle. There's an age difference. She has sons less than 10 yrs younger than our son and everyone gets along quite well. Her joining our family has been a blessing for all of us!
