I have 4 (listed in my siggie below). I like the old ones because I can work on them myself (DH does the electrical stuff). I've been sewing for a looooooong time, and quilting for 30 years. The 401A was my first machine, given to me by my parents when I graduated from high school in 1981. It's been my constant companion ever since.
