"She got what she paid for." LOL My first t-shirt quilt was for a friend. We made the deal that I would make it as an experiment and she would pay for supplies - that came to around $100. It was so freeing to make it knowing that she was getting what she paid for! (No mistaking, please - I did the best possible job I could, added an embroidered label she hadn't expected. It was a great job, but ... still made me so much more comfortable that we had a "deal" about it.) I'm now doing 3 more as commissions. I charged enough that I hope others won't want me to do one for them, too!
