I have one of those Kenmores too. They are made by White and are some of the best straight stitch machines made.
Mine is brown crinkle rather than the OD green ( that's what it looks like on my monitor ) yours is.
They work great with Tri-Flow oil and the motors take petroleum jelly for the grease pots. If you don't have a manual I have a scanned threading chart.
