I agree with Mr. Clean Eraser. They do a beautiful job on my white painted doors.
The magic eraser is what I would advise. They truly are magic. I use them for all sorts of cleaning. Different erasers for different jobs. Sometimes even just a micro fibre cloth will do a remarkable job.
