Very nice quilt my son in law would love it. He has a Harley Davidson black trimed in silver he was one of the men that rode to D.C. on 911 from here in Va. He loves his Harley, he and my daughter go riding quite often just to ride. Where did u find a pattern for this or this your own design? Beautiful work and colors really go good with the Harley Emblem.
I designed it myself. After quite a few months of brainstorming and looking at fabrics and online, I had a starting point. Everything else was actually one step at a time. I didn't know what the ending would look like. Having the Harley emblem at the beginning was a big help. Each step was a big decision and planning, making samples, taking photos (which was a big help to visualize), and getting hubby's opinions. I didn't settle for anything unless I felt just right about it. Luckily I didn't have a deadline. It would have ended up a different quilt if I had a deadline. We do not ride a motorcycle but my Sister and her husband have for many years. My Dad had a BMW and would ride all around the country with my Mother when we were teens and older. He had a passion for his BMW similar to Harley riders.
