I have come to own a treadle base and that is all there is. It has a wood pitman, I have been told these were used on the older treadle bases. I had the old machine and cabinet but it had been left in the weather and was completely ruined. I did salvage the base, we are in the process of refinishing it now. I was just wondering if anyone on here knows what year or years they used these wood pitmans. The base is also very heavy, a lot heaver than the other ones I have.
